  • Chetan Naik J, is an Assistant Professor in Ramaiah Skill Academy at Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences (RUAS), Bangalore. He has more 12 years of academic and research experience. Also experienced in coordinating funded research projects from government organizations as well as public and private sectors. He holds B.E. degree in Electronics and Communications from PES Institute of Technology & Management, Shimoga (VTU Belgaum), India in 2012 and M.Tech degree in VLSI Design and Embedded Systems from Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology (VTU Belgaum) in 2014 and Pursuing Ph.D. from Reva University, Bangalore on Underwater communication. His academic interests include Embedded Systems, IOT, Underwater communication, Microcontrollers and Robotics. In addition to his interest in academics, he also focuses on research in the area of Underwater communication and Error coding. He also has worked on Arduino programming, Embedded C programming, Python, 3D printing technology, PSOC and Matlab. He has good experience working in Research and Development (R&D), Centre for Robotic Research, NMIT Bangalore and as a Senior Research Staff at Research and Development (R&D), MSEC, Bangalore. He has worked on various VGST, IEDC-DST, VTU TEQIP, VTU-COE projects and Private projects consultation work.

  • He has participated in various workshops and faculty development programs held by various colleges. He has conducted workshop on Introduction to Embedded system and PSOC 5 LP, Introduction to Embedded system and ARM 7 Cortex M0, Arduino Board, Matlab Signal Processing toolbox. He has got online certification on Fundamentals of Network Communication from University of Colorado system, How to write a resume from The State University of New York and The 3D Printing Revolution from University of Illinois.

  • He has Guided more than 8 B.E. and 2 M.Tech students in their seminars and project dissertations. Reviewer at IET Circuits, Devices and Systems and IET Radar, Sonar & Navigation Journal. He is a Senior Member of Institute of Research Engineers and Doctors (IRED) and Member of International Association of Engineers (IAENG). I Have setup PCB Design skill lab by AICTE Idea Lab. He has more than 13 journal publications, 10 conference publications and published more than 13 patents to his credit. He is also reviewer for IET Circuits, Devices and Systems and IET Radar, Sonar & Navigation Journals.

  • He has got Best Paper Award at IACIT 2022 Conference Reva University Bangalore. He has got Best International Young Researcher Award for Underwater communication & IOT from Asian Research award by Honarable Tamil nadu Education Minister Mr. Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi in 2024.
